Analyze Shopify Customer Data for Revenue Recovery

Shopify stores build up rich order histories. Revenow uses that history to find inactive buyers and estimate their repeat-purchase potential.

Direct Shopify integration is coming soon.

In the meantime, you can analyze compatible exported transaction data with Revenow.

The Challenge for Shopify Users

Shopify's built-in reports show sales and returning-customer rates, but turning that into a named list of lapsed buyers ranked by value takes extra work.

For brands selling consumables or seasonal products, those buyers are often the most efficient revenue to win back.

Data You Need

  • Orders export with customer (email or name), order date and order total
  • Optional: order ID, product and currency

Using Shopify Data Today

  1. In Shopify admin, export your orders as CSV.
  2. Upload the file to Revenow (CSV or XLSX).
  3. Confirm the suggested column mapping for customer, order date and revenue.

Shopify's export layout may need a quick check or small clean-up; Revenow suggests the mapping but every export can differ.

How Revenow Analyzes the Data

Orders are grouped per customer and classified with Generic 1.0 relative to the analysis reference date: under 60 days active, 60–89 at risk, 90+ inactive.

Inactive buyers contribute to estimated recoverable revenue; at-risk buyers to revenue at risk. Both are estimates.

All figures are estimates based on past activity, not guaranteed recovered revenue. Revenow doesn't contact customers for you.

Illustrative Example

Hypothetical business and figures.

A tea brand exports a year of Shopify orders. The analysis shows 310 customers with two or more orders who are now past 90 days. Sorted by past spend, the top 50 become a personal win-back segment.

Who Benefits

  • Shopify stores with repeat-purchase products
  • DTC brands planning win-back campaigns
  • Teams who want named customer lists, not just percentages
